Affirmative Action, American with Disabilities Act and Non-Discrimination Policies
This statement reaffirms that Minnesota Climate Innovation Finance Authority (MnCIFA) is committed to Minnesota's statewide affirmative action efforts and providing equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants in accordance with equal opportunity and affirmative action laws.
MnCIFA affirms our support of these policies which provide that:

Employment practices include, but are not limited to the following: hiring, promotion, demotion, transfer, recruitment or recruitment advertising, layoff, disciplinary action, termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and selection for training, including apprenticeship. It is MnCIFA’s policy that its programs, services, products, and activities are accessible to individuals with disabilities, and that it will comply with applicable state and federal laws that prohibit discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities in its employment practices.
Notice of Nondiscrimination
Minnesota Climate Innovation Finance Authority (MnCIFA) does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, disability, national origin, sex, marital status, familial status, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity in administration of its programs or activities, and, MnCIFA does not intimidate or retaliate against any individual or group because they have exercised their rights to participate in actions protected, or oppose actions prohibited, by 40 C.F.R. Parts 5 and 7, or for the purpose of interfering with such rights.
(a) Requirements for recipients to which federal financial assistance is extended. A recipient shall provide initial and continuing notice that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, disability, national origin, sex, marital status, familial status, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity in a program or activity receiving federal financial assistance or, in programs or activities covered by section 13, on the basis of sex. Methods of notice must accommodate those with impaired vision or hearing. At a minimum, this notice must be posted in a prominent place in the recipient's offices or facilities. Methods of notice may also include publishing in newspapers and magazines, and placing notices in recipient's internal publications or on recipient's printed letterhead. Where appropriate, such notice must be in a language or languages other than English. The notice must identify the responsible employee designated in accordance with § 7.85.
(b) Deadline. Recipients of assistance must provide initial notice by thirty (30) calendar days after award and continuing notice for the duration of federal financial assistance.
